POMURJE - the region by Mura River – comprises Prekmurje on the left bank and Prlekija on the right bank of Mura River. Prekmurje comprises the flatland area called Ravensko and Dolinsko in the southeastern part and in the northern, hilly part called Goričko.
It is a country with Pannonian climatic characteristics , with villages located by the roads or with clusterlike villages and houses scattered in the rolling hilly country area of Goričko.
